L’Addominoplastica è un intervento chirurgico molto richiesto, diffuso sia negli uomini che nelle donne. L’addome perde infatti con il tempo di tonicità cutanea e un addorme adiposo o rilassato è considerato un inestetismo che provoca disagio verso il mondo esterno.
L’Addominoplastica ha come obbiettivo quello di rimuovere l’eccesso cutaneo, l’adiposità localizzata e le smagliature della regione addominale, donando al paziente un addome piatto e sodo. Si può abbinare ad una liposuzione per migliorare ulteriormente l’effetto finale, agendo quindi anche sui profili del corpo.
Inoltre si associa nella maggior parte delle volte alla correzione della diastasi dei retti, condizione invalidante che si presenta spesso durante la gravidanza, e molte volte si riduce già nelle prime 8 settimane dal parto. Rimane però una buona percentuale di donne in cui perdura nei mesi successivi, e proprio in questi casi è importante non perdere tempo.
Esistono anche casi di diastasi addominale non correlati alla gravidanza, e alcuni casi anche nell’uomo. A volte può anche essere congenita.

L’Addominoplastica necessita di un’accurata visita specialistica pre-operatoria nel quale verrà valutata la quantità e la localizzazione dei depositi di grasso presenti nell’addome, l’elasticità della cute, l’eventuale eccesso di pelle e la tonicità dei muscoli interessati. In base a questi fattori verrà scelto se effettuare un intervento di addominoplastica completa o di mini-addominoplastica. L’intervento si esegue in anestesia generale ed ha una durata di 2-3 ore.
Il risultato dell’intervento di addominoplastica è permanente, il tessuto asportato non si riforma più.
